Perchville USA - An Annual Winter Celebration
With its start in 1950, Perchville USA has become a winter tradition that typically draws thousands of visitors up north for the festivities. Organizers are working to proceed with many of the beloved Perchville events that have been a yearly staple for seven decades safely and responsibly.
With a wide range of activities and entertainment, it's easy to see why this long-standing winter event continues to go strong. Test your luck and fishing skills on beautiful Tawas Bay and surrounding lakes in the catch-and-keep fishing tournament. Cheer on the drivers in the modified and stock ATV and side-by-side races. Take a dip in the frosty water of Lake Huron in the Polar Bear Plunge. Be an active participant or just a spectator. Either way, this is a one-of-a-kind Michigan experience you won't want to miss!
This mid-winter celebration is a great way to have fun even in the midst of long, winter months in Tawas, Oscoda and the surrounding area. The temperatures might be frigid but the excitement is hot! Stay tuned to the Tawas Chamber's website or Perchville's Facebook page for event updates and schedules.
Then after a day in the winter air, plan to settle into your luxurious room at Huron House and get cozy by your in-room fireplace to take the chill off.
