Situated on North State Street, just one block from Lake Huron, Furtaw Field has amazing views of the water stretching for miles – the perfect backdrop for a day of pumpkins, cider, shopping and more.
The main draw for Pumpkins in the Park is the arts and crafts show, where talented artisans from across Michigan, and even from other states, will display their masterpieces for sale. Each day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., stroll amongst the canopies to visits dozens of craftspeople as you admire their handcrafted items and fine works of art.
Along with the arts and crafts show, there also will be other entertaining fall activities. On Saturday, don't miss the chili cook-off, where you can take small grab-and-go samples of hearty chili and cast a vote for your favorite for the People's Choice award. On Sunday at noon, the costumed pet parade is sure to delight! Check out the jack-o'-lantern competition to see spooky and creative entries. Or get in on the game yourself with the opportunity to pick a pumpkin and carve it onsite. All weekend long, partake in tasty cider sampling.
