The Biggest Little Birding Festival in the Midwest
Looking for a premier location to catch sight of some migrating birds? Michigan’s Sunrise Coast has some of the best birding and spring migration birding in the Great Lakes region! Tawas Point in particular is well known for its high density of migrating warblers in May, so it’s only natural that the Tawas Point Birding Festival provides an opportunity to enjoy spring birding at its very best. The Festival is about more than just birdwatching, though; attend presentations on the latest topics, put your skills to the test, or learn about avian conservation work in the state of Michigan.
Participants in the festival can expect to see Kirtland’s warbler, Cape May warbler, golden-winged warbler, ruby-crowned kinglet, white-crowned sparrow, numerous raptors, shorebirds, and much more. Tours will also be available to festival participants.
The Tawas Point Birding Festival will be held starting at 2PM on May 16th and end on May 18th, 2019, at 6PM. Click for more information and to register your tickets for the Tawas Point Birding Festival today!
